The Work

I love the physical and aesthetic possibilities and challenges of working with wood — the processes, the tools, and all the small details that combine to make beautiful works of art.

Most of my work is done on commission. For design inspiration, I look to both your personal vision and the natural world. If you want traditional designs, I borrow from or replicate historical ornament and patterns. In my restoration projects, I work to repair or replace original objects. And in the process, I consider relevant woodworking traditions, materials, and tool use.
